hitting black ice on a backroad as you approach a junction ending up sideways and across three lanes is 100% the scariest thing of my driving life yet! all i can say is thank "duck" for polybushes and lowering springs

its ridiculous how i can insure a 3.0 litre, twin turbo, imported supra! for 2000 pound yet my insurance want 1100 for a 1.25 mk5 fiesta! :( depressed

if i raise my mk5 back to standard height from being lowered will the shocks just decide to give up after being compressed so long?

not sure mate just whatever it came from the factory with. standard 1.25 shocks. getting fed up of the car induction kits e.t.c has all came off thinking of raising it up, just hard times

It shouldn't cause you any problem , youll be taking the strain off them.
Oh I know what you mean, but strip it back to as far standard you want to go then re assess it , you've got one of them cars thats a right pain in the back side, but once you've followed through checking everything and sorted the fault you'll know the car enough to feel comfortable with it.
Would It be worth getting your self another little run around and have some time away from it?

ah right well maybe something for the future then, n nah cant afford one car never mind two lol. completely broke mate if i stripped it back it would give me some cash to not soemthing id really like to do but its there

OK guys do I stick with black and Kawasaki green colours or do I go for a change?, I was thinking something a bit different like black and the sparkly lotus purple colour my mechanic painted my brakes for a laugh lol. ideas please?

not doing cadbury was thinking lotus purple (cant mind the exact name) but its more pinky purple with metallic flakes

literally just ripped my entire audio loom apart to find the source of the alternator noise...only to discover it was a screw holding the speaker in the door panel grrr...on another note my project thread needs updating pronto!.

what do you lot think on a side exit twin pipe for a mk5? like one that comes out under the skirt? been offered one but unsure as yeah its different but i would have a redhot exhaust at the rear door lol

hah thats what i was thinking steve mate something different never gonna go fast anyways if a wanted it to so fuck it all noise n toys. n yeah david that bovis (insert naughty word beginning with "C") in the traffics just a prat when it comes to stuff i have exhaust system changes on my insurance anyways so tbh they cant do feck all

yes! full leather interior on route to me for my wee mk5 :D even a five door version so the full set of seats fit proper cant get much better!

finally got a set of side skirts! for a tenner! jacking points included, sadly in blue but a quick sand down and rattle can will fix it ;)

away down to london for a week tomorrow, wee fezza just aint big enough to be practical for the journey so on a bus we go :( ,just hope my uncles taking care of it the couple of days he has use of it ...
