Bought a 16yo Nissan Micra. I've rang up My (Now Ex) Insurance Company to ask them to simply change the Vehicle details and what they quoted me was positively extortionate. How can they quote one nice price online then tell you a completely different one over the phone. I've always preferred doing it over the phone because of my probably irrational fear of a policy either not going through online or getting a phone call saying it's more than they quoted.

The end of an era.... Time to say Goodbye to Fiesta. No compression whatsoever so will need head off and Mechanic advised me too expensive and even so wouldn't get through MOT next week anyway.

Great News! I've taken Car to Garage and there is nothing wrong with My Pistons, Compression not Compromised :)

Damn, broke a spark plug earlier and some ceramic dropped into the hole. I thought I got it all out but now Car has white smoke coming from Exhaust.... ??

Bad News, The first time in ages I've started Car while hot and there is white smoke and lots of it, I've done over 1500 Miles and thought I got away with it. :(

I've been looking at similar Mk4s on Auto Trader. Quite Cheap now even for a decent one.

Today was the first time I've ever really seen red and "gone off on one" while driving. To be fair though it was after several people were blindly stood in the road either chatting or looking at their phones

Right. Rear arches finally waxoiled, New Number Plates on and some instant gasket put over the worn rocker top grommet.

Set about Waxoilng the rear arches. Got half an arch done then ran out of Waxoil, curses...

Well, rocker Gasket and New Spare Wheel Carrier on. I've also Waxoiled underneath the Car but the Wheel Arches can wait because I've got to pop out :)
